The Day After the Comma

Tokyo: rush hour

For the past six weeks I’ve been gently nudging up my time-zone count to reach UCT+9, Tokyo Standard Time. Yesterday was a comma in six weeks of business-meetings, client pitches, presentations and prose, a client-visit to Osaka and the salariman Shinkansen back to Tokyo.

Sometimes you need to change the conversation.

And so it goes.

Baalbek: Hezbollah

Shanghai: beachfront property

Shanghai: light

Baalbek: sign

Boston: train times

A couple of photos from these past weeks: Osaka advert glimpsing through the rush hour traffic; Hezbollah poster in Baalbek, Lebanon; Shanghai beach front and skyline; Beirut signs and Boston trains.
