The hotel laundry form – a format that is as uniform as the business hotels that supply them. The guest lists the number of items in each collumn – playing liberally with the defintions in order to reduce the cost; the final amount is frequently changed and hardly ever accurate; the hotel adopts a pricing model based, in part on the hassle of having to purchase a new item – socks are particularly sensitive to this; and the guest is left feeling somewhat screwed. In other words its a format that is ripe for change.
Thought for today: what would it take to offer a 2.0 hotel-agnostic dryclean service?
