Shanghai: interactive surfaces

It’s difficult to pass a skateboard and not physically interact in some way – the surface, form invites the flick/nudge/fall of a foot. Visitors are asked not to touch the exhibit – MOCA Shanghai and the artist missed a perfect opportunity to engage, provoke and deliver a sensory payload (most people are likely to fall off a skateboard – these are anchored to the floor).

Simple task for today: take a look around you – what do you touch, what would you avoid touching, why?

If you’re designing for an augmented/embedded future – how do the answers affect what you want to augment/embed?
