Origami Spoon

Kansai: paper spoon

The best example of minimal resources applied to a dedicated task that I’ve seen for a while: disposable spoon made out of paper for eating a (delicious, Kobe) yoghurt: the spoon can be shipped and stored flat; is folded 80 degrees down the spine to create a stronger handle; and the fold tapers out into a flat handle for scooping the yoghurt; with dimples on the upper edge of the scoop to stop the chunks of yoghurt sliding off.

Strong enough to last for one tub.
