They don’t need charging, require a carrying case, or leave your ear’s hot after a long haul. They do cut out most of the ambient flight noise. Yeah they’re not perfect – the cable is prone to being snagged on zips and from ears-on experience the more expensive pairs aren’t worth the money or last any longer.
